Police arrest suspect within 24 hours after attempted exchange heist in Manama
Authorities in Bahrain have arrested a suspect within 24 hours following an attempted robbery at a money exchange shop in the capital, the Ministry of Interior said.
According to the Capital Governorate Police Directorate, a 19-year-old Asian man attempted to carry out the robbery but fled the scene without taking any الأموال.
Police said an immediate investigation was launched after the incident was reported, with officers gathering evidence and quickly identifying the suspect.
He was subsequently arrested within a day of the attempted heist.
Authorities confirmed that legal procedures have been initiated and the case will be referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
