woman arrested for forcing a 17-year-old into immoral activities
The Ministry of Interior has announced the arrest of an Asian woman in connection with a human trafficking case involving a 17-year-old girl, as part of Bahrain’s continued efforts to combat such crimes and maintain its strong international standing in addressing human trafficking.
According to the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, the suspect allegedly brought the minor into the Kingdom from abroad and forced her into activities that violate public morals.
Authorities stated that immediate action was taken upon receiving information about the incident. Intensive investigations and search operations led to the identification and swift arrest of the suspect.
Legal procedures have been initiated, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
