Royal Humanitarian Foundation Issues Its Annual Report for 2025

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation has issued its 2025 Annual Report, documenting its most prominent achievements and qualitative programs in humanitarian work, orphan and widow care, and community empowerment across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Eng. Ibrahim Delhan Al Doseri, Acting Assistant Secretary-General of the Foundation, stated that the achievements realized during 2025 reflect the significant support extended to the Foundation by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain and Honorary President of the Foundation, as well as the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also highlighted the visionary leadership of humanitarian and development initiatives by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. These efforts align with the strategic vision centered on investing in people and empowering them. He added that the Foundation continues to advance its programs and initiatives to meet beneficiaries’ needs and enhance their quality of life, praising the dedication of the Foundation’s staff and their role in presenting its initiatives in an exemplary manner.

The report revealed that the Foundation achieved notable accomplishments throughout the year. The number of sponsored orphans and widows reached 10,857 beneficiaries, while the total number of beneficiaries since the Foundation’s establishment has reached 31,794. The Foundation also provided 2,458 school bags to orphans and implemented 180 diverse programs and events, benefiting 6,878 participants. In addition, 76 students received support through scholarship and academic grant programs.

In the field of family counseling, the Foundation delivered specialized guidance programs benefiting 490 individuals. Meanwhile, 4,480 beneficiaries received humanitarian assistance, including living support, medical assistance, marriage support, aid for indebted individuals, and educational support.

On the healthcare front, the Foundation continued its specialized initiatives by providing 86 insulin pumps for children and conducting 16 cochlear implant surgeries, in addition to offering integrated medical services that benefited hundreds of individuals as part of its commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare services.

Regarding economic empowerment, the Foundation’s “Natij Khair Bahrain Center” achieved tangible impact by producing 2,765 products and implementing 25 training programs that benefited 397 participants. The center also prepared more than 20,450 Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan under the supervision of 17 center affiliates, reflecting the Foundation’s role in supporting productive families and promoting economic independence.

The report also highlighted the Foundation’s institutional excellence, having obtained the Gold Category classification within the Government Service Centers Evaluation Program, in addition to receiving several local and international awards in innovation and humanitarian work. The Foundation also expanded its community engagement through 55 partnerships with various entities.

Furthermore, the report noted the Foundation’s humanitarian relief efforts beyond Bahrain, including the delivery of humanitarian aid to several affected regions, most notably the Gaza Strip. It also strengthened its media presence through the launch of awareness platforms and programs highlighting success stories and promoting the values of humanitarian work.
