Online shopping activity is gradually returning to normal in Bahrain, although delivery times remain longer than usual as regional shipping routes continue to adjust.
The Daily Tribune has observed that several international e-commerce platforms have resumed accepting new orders from customers in the Kingdom. However, estimated delivery periods have increased; expected arrival times now range between one and two weeks.
According to tracking updates reviewed by the newspaper, shipments are being rerouted through alternative logistics corridors. Parcels first arrive in the United Arab Emirates before being transported overland through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain.
For many residents, the update has brought a sense of cautious relief. After weeks of cancellations and automatic refunds, shoppers say they are once again able to place orders, even if patience is now part of the process.
Logistics specialists explain that such rerouting reflects the flexibility of regional supply chains, with land transport playing a greater role when direct air or sea corridors face disruption.
