Delivery workers risk their lives every day to bring food and essentials to our homes. Loud sirens, explosions, and chaotic streets can make their job even more dangerous. Yesterday, heavy rain made it even harder for them to stay safe
One worker said: “When alarms go off, it’s hard to focus. Every trip feels risky, but people still expect deliveries on time.”
We must remember: not every order is urgent. Ordering food or items that aren’t necessary can put their lives at risk. Be patient, limit unnecessary requests, and respect the dangers they face.
Delivery workers are part of our community, and their safety should come first. By thinking twice before ordering, we can help protect them while they continue their important work.
