Man Arrested in Bahrain for Misusing Social Media Over Iran-Related Videos

Manama: Bahrain's Ministry of Interior announced that the Cybercrime Department of the General Directorate for Combating Corruption, Economic and Cyber Security has arrested a 35-year-old man for misusing social media.
According to the ministry, the man filmed and published videos related to the Iranian aggression targeting multiple locations and shared them on his social media accounts, in violation of the law. Authorities said the content could harm security and public order.
The directorate confirmed that legal procedures are under way to refer the suspect to the Public Prosecution.
