Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Reaffirm Strong Ties

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during an official visit to the Kingdom.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the steady progress and development of the strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He underscored that this progress is supported by the directives and vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed the historic and deep-rooted ties between the two Kingdoms, noting that the relationship is built on comprehensive and wide-ranging cooperation across multiple sectors. He also commended the efforts of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman in strengthening the partnership and advancing shared development and prosperity for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.

The meeting emphasised the shared commitment to further enhancing cooperation across various fields, with particular reference to the role of the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council and the agreements concluded under its framework, which have significantly contributed to reinforcing bilateral relations.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with His Majesty’s best wishes for continued growth and prosperity for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people.

In return, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman conveyed his greetings to His Majesty the King and expressed his wishes for further progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.

The meeting also reviewed avenues to further advance bilateral cooperation and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, reaffirming the importance of continuing to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two Kingdoms.
