New Leasing Process Aims to Attract and Support Industrial Investors

Manama: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has upgraded its industrial plots leasing service as part of broader government efforts to streamline procedures, raise service standards, and improve the overall experience for investors and beneficiaries.

 The updated service introduces a faster review and approval process by simplifying requirements and eliminating several documents previously needed, such as copies of investor identification, company organisational structures, and product images. These improvements were made possible through system integration with other government entities and the automation of internal workflows.

 Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro said the development reflects the Ministry’s commitment to adopting advanced digital solutions that enhance efficiency and transparency, ensure better use of resources, and reduce time and effort for service users.

 The initiative aligns with nationwide government reforms, which have seen more than 1,300 services documented and published, and approximately 800 services reengineered across various sectors, supporting service excellence and accelerating digital transformation.
