Bahrain Tests Emergency Alert System

A test of Bahrain’s emergency warning system was carried out today at around 12:15 pm, with a message appearing on many mobile devices across the Kingdom.
The alert clarified that it was only a test, conducted to ensure the emergency alert system functions properly in the event of disasters. Authorities confirmed that there was no real danger, and no action was required from the public.
