Northern Governor Highlights Community Councils as Vital for Public Engagement

His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, Governor of the Northern Governorate, reaffirmed the essential role of community councils in fostering national unity during a visit to the Majlis of the sons of the late Haj Ibrahim Lotfallah. The visit is part of an ongoing initiative by the Governor to maintain direct communication with the residents of the Northern Governorate.
During the gathering, Governor Al Madani described these councils as a fundamental pillar for social cohesion and a primary channel for listening to the aspirations of citizens. He emphasized that the Governorate remains committed to documenting public observations and suggestions, ensuring they are forwarded to the relevant authorities to serve the public interest.
The council members welcomed the visit, praising the Governor’s dedication to grassroots engagement. They expressed their enthusiasm for future cooperation in implementing community-led programs and national events that strengthen the partnership between the government and its people.
