Bahraini Interior Minister Invited to Kuwait to Bolster Security Cooperation

Lieutenant General His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Interior, has received a formal invitation to visit the State of Kuwait. The invitation was extended by His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The announcement followed a high-level meeting in Manama, where the Minister received Brigadier General Sheikh Mubarak Ali Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwaiti Coast Guard. The reception was also attended by Major General Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police.

During the discussions, the Minister praised the deep-rooted historical ties between the two brotherly nations. He emphasized the necessity of expanding security coordination and the exchange of professional expertise to maintain regional stability. A primary focus of the meeting was the enhancement of joint efforts between the respective coast guards to ensure maritime safety and protect territorial waters.

Both parties explored various mechanisms to develop joint work strategies, reaffirming their commitment to a unified security front.
