Bahrain celebrates National Day and HM King accession to throne with pride and joy

Bahrain will celebrate National Day, the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne, and the accompanying national events, today with high spirits.
Yesterday, HM King Hamad and HRH Prince Salman exchanged cables of congratulations on National Days.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the Kingdom’s achievements across various domains of development, under the leadership of His Majesty’s vision, which has set the course for progress and advancement for the Kingdom.
HM the King thanked His Royal Highness and expressed pride in the Kingdom’s milestone achievements in various domains.
They reflected on the noble sacrifices and contributions of past generations, which formed the foundation of national development led by His Majesty. HRH Prince Salman noted that HM the King’s directives guide the progress of national policies and plans, within a comprehensive royal vision that supports continued progress, responds to citizens’ aspirations, and enhances Bahrain’s standing at various levels.
His Majesty and His Royal Highness received cables of congratulations from senior members of the Royal Family, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, the Chairman of the Shura Council, Ministers, senior officials, members of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, dignitaries, governors, municipal councillors, Bahrain’s ambassadors abroad, heads of diplomatic missions in Bahrain, heads of societies, sports associations and clubs, and citizens.
The royal leadership also received cables of congratulations from Their Majesties, Highnesses, and Excellencies, the Kings, Princes, and Presidents of Arab, Islamic, and world leaders.
