President of Bashkortostan Welcomes Bahrain’s Islamic Affairs Chief in Ufa

President Radiy Khabirov of the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan today welcomed His Excellency Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of Bahrain’s Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, at the Presidential Office in Ufa.

President Khabirov warmly greeted the Bahraini delegation and praised Shaikh Abdulrahman’s participation in the 16th International Conference: “Islamic Ideals and Values – One Nation, Shared Destiny.” He expressed his appreciation for Bahrain’s long-standing role in promoting Islamic unity, strengthening bonds between nations, and supporting global peace efforts.

The Bashkortostan leader affirmed his commitment to further enhancing cooperation between the two countries across various fields, in line with the aspirations of their peoples.

During the meeting, Shaikh Abdulrahman conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, along with His Majesty’s wishes for continued prosperity and peace for Bashkortostan, the Russian Federation, and all their communities.

Shaikh Abdulrahman extended his congratulations on the success of the annual conference, hosted in Ufa and organized by the Central Religious Administration of Muslims of Russia. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts to uphold Islamic unity and promote peace worldwide.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Shaikh Abdulrahman presented President Khabirov with a special gift — a beautifully recited edition of the Bahrain Mushaf, featuring three complete audio and visual Qur’an recitations by prominent Bahraini reciters. The gesture highlighted Bahrain’s growing contributions to Islamic scholarship and cultural heritage.
