Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al-Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals, inaugurated the new Molecular Laboratory at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC).
This qualitative addition boosts diagnostic services, aligning with the Supreme Council of Health’s strategy to adopt precision medicine and advanced diagnostic technologies. Dr. Al-Jalahma emphasized that the lab’s advanced capabilities—particularly in analyzing genetic and molecular samples—will be crucial for the early detection and highly accurate diagnosis of diseases.
The project represents an important step in upgrading health services and ensuring the sustainability and high quality of patient care in Bahrain.
