Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Economic Ties During High-Level Meeting at EDB

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, received His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) headquarters in Bahrain Bay.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman welcomed the Saudi Minister, noting that the visit underscores the enduring strength of the historic partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He highlighted that such exchanges play a vital role in broadening cooperation, particularly in investment promotion and economic diversification efforts, in line with the Kingdom’s ongoing development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Highness also underlined the Bahrain EDB’s contribution to national growth by driving strategic initiatives that enhance competitiveness and support sustainable economic expansion.

During the meeting, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, delivered a detailed presentation on Bahrain’s economic performance and progress under the Economic Vision 2030. The presentation highlighted ongoing diversification efforts, investment opportunities, and the competitive advantages that establish Bahrain as a regional gateway for business and innovation.

Her Excellency Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the EDB, also presented an overview of the Board’s initiatives aimed at attracting foreign investment and strengthening Bahrain’s position as a leading investment hub. She noted that the EDB provides integrated support to investors at every stage, emphasizing the Kingdom’s modern infrastructure, skilled workforce, and business-friendly regulatory environment.

The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to deepen economic cooperation and foster regional growth through collaboration and strategic investment.
