Seef Mall Hosts “Safahat” Book Fair for the Second Year with Rich Cultural and Entertainment Offerings
Seef District has once again opened its doors to book lovers with the return of the “Safahat” Book Fair, an event that blends culture, creativity, and community spirit. Running until November 30, the fair aims to inspire a passion for reading among visitors of all ages through a vibrant lineup of literary and cultural activities.
This year’s edition gathers a wide range of publishers and libraries from across the region, offering diverse Arabic and English titles spanning literature, science, and culture. The fair also features book signings by Bahraini and Gulf writers, along with interactive activities such as children’s storytelling sessions, art and craft workshops, and family events that combine education with entertainment.
The Wahaj Association is also taking part by coordinating creative workshops and reading sessions designed for people of determination, ensuring inclusivity and equal participation in cultural experiences that celebrate imagination and learning.
Duaij Al Romaihi, Chief Commercial Officer at Seef Properties, expressed pride in hosting the event for the second consecutive year, noting that it supports the company’s goal of turning Seef Mall into a cultural meeting point. “Safahat reflects our belief in the value of culture and its role in shaping an informed and creative society. Through initiatives like this, we aim to foster spaces where learning, dialogue, and creativity thrive,” he said.
He added that the exhibition not only promotes reading but also serves as a platform for local and regional authors to engage directly with their audiences.
The Safahat Book Fair is located near Gates 1 and 10 at Seef Mall – Seef District. It welcomes visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with free entry for all.
