The National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC) has won first place in the Best Educational Digital Game category at the GCC Digital Government Award, held in the State of Kuwait in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The NCSC earned the award for its interactive educational project, the “Cyber Guardian” game, which aims to raise cybersecurity awareness, strengthen digital safety culture, and address growing online challenges through an innovative, engaging experience designed for young audiences.

H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of the National Cybersecurity Centre, expressed pride in this distinguished Gulf-level achievement, which he said reflects Bahrain’s advancement in digital security and national innovation.

He emphasised that the recognition comes as a result of the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives and close follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen Bahrain’s cybersecurity infrastructure and ensure a safe and reliable digital environment.

Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed noted that the award for Cyber Guardian highlights the Centre’s commitment to developing innovative educational tools that keep pace with rapid technological advancements and enhance cybersecurity culture across the community, particularly among youth.
