Bahrain Welcomes Syrian Roadmap Agreement for Suwayda Crisis
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has welcomed the announcement by the Syrian Arab Republic regarding the adoption of a roadmap, agreed upon by Syria, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the United States of America, to address the crisis in Suwayda Governorate in southern Syria.
The Ministry described the agreement as an important step that contributes to strengthening civil peace and supporting security and stability in the region.
Reaffirming Bahrain’s firm stance, the Ministry emphasized the Kingdom’s support for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic. It also expressed Bahrain’s backing for regional and international efforts aimed at achieving peace and security in the region, while meeting the aspirations of the Syrian people for stability and sustainable development under the rule of law and state institutions.
