Housing Ministry and Housing Bank Launch Mobile Branch for Housing Finance

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in collaboration with Housing Bank, will organize a mobile branch initiative for housing finance from Tuesday, September 3, to Sunday, September 7, 2025, at City Centre, Gate 1, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The initiative aims to raise awareness about housing finance options and provide consultations to citizens interested in these services.

Mr. Haitham Mohammed Kamal, Director of Communications at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to inform citizens about housing finance as a fast and convenient service that allows them to choose housing and financing solutions that meet their needs.

He added that this is the fourth edition of the mobile branch initiative, following the success of the previous three editions, which saw strong engagement from citizens. The mobile branch offers direct consultations, answers questions, and provides guidance on housing finance rules and criteria in a quick and accessible manner.

The ministry continues to raise awareness about housing services through events such as housing finance exhibitions in shopping malls, the Innovation in Social Housing conference and exhibition, and educational lectures organized in ministries, public institutions, companies, and in cooperation with members of the National Assembly.

Mr. Kamal emphasized that the ministry’s goal is to maintain direct communication with citizens through various programs, helping them understand housing services and benefit from financing programs.

Mr. Khalid Ahmed Al Khaja, Senior Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Housing Bank, highlighted that the initiative also introduces citizens to financing solutions and consultations through the “Beity” digital calculator, enabling users to choose suitable financing options.

He explained that the Beity platform will showcase around 13,000 properties compatible with the “Tasheel +”, “Tasheel”, and the new “Mazaya” programs. These include residential units, plots, and apartments across all Bahraini governorates, with advanced digital tools allowing citizens to explore property details conveniently.
