Interior Minister holds phone call with Pakistani counterpart

His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, held a telephone call with Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control of Pakistan.
The Interior Minister conveyed his sincere condolences and sympathy over the victims of the recent floods, landslides and the rescue helicopter crash, which claimed the lives of several people, including members of the rescue teams.
He affirmed the deep-rooted and historic ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, reiterating Bahrain’s keenness to enhance security cooperation and coordination to address security challenges and rapid developments, and underscoring the importance of strengthening the work of the Joint Security Committee.
