46 Illegal Marine Traps Seized Across Kingdom

Coast Guard patrols have seized 46 illegal marine traps, known locally as gargoor, in separate incidents across various areas of the Kingdom.
The move was part of continued efforts to protect Bahrain’s marine environment and uphold maritime security.
The Coast Guard Command confirmed that legal procedures were taken in response to the violations.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to ongoing monitoring and surveillance operations aimed at curbing unlawful maritime practices.
