Lawyer on Trial Over Paternity Row Case Leak

A lawyer has been sent to court after publishing material about a paternity dispute she was handling, according to the Cybercrime Prosecution.
The Public Prosecution acted on a report from the Cybercrime Directorate at the Ministry of Interior, which stated that local online newspapers and social media pages had circulated details tied to an ongoing legal case.
Investigators traced the source of the information to a lawyer representing one of the parties.
She was brought in for questioning and shown the articles in which the disputed content appeared.
The Prosecution released her afterwards but referred her to trial on a charge of disclosing information linked to a paternity suit in breach of the law.
