New Zallaq Police Station Officially Opens

The inauguration was led by Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He was welcomed by senior officials, including the Deputy Minister of Interior and the Chief of Public Security.
The event started with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque to mark the station’s opening.
In his speech, the Minister thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their strong support and leadership. He said the new station reflects the Ministry’s goal of offering modern, efficient, and people-centered police services.
He also highlighted the important work police do across the country to keep communities safe and build trust with the public.
The Zallaq station is part of a bigger plan to turn police stations into advanced service centers that are faster, smarter, and more connected with the community.
The Minister was given a tour of the station’s high-tech features, including a new electronic system that allows people to report incidents quickly and easily.
He also checked the station’s patrol vehicles, equipment, and systems designed to help police respond faster in emergencies.
At the end of his visit, the Minister stressed the importance of staying committed to improvement and making sure that the safety of all citizens and residents remains a top priority.
