Bahrain Hosts Food Talks

Bahrain will play host to a high-level business summit this November as food industry leaders from Morocco and Bahrain prepare to explore new opportunities in trade, manufacturing, and investment.

The meeting, focused exclusively on the food industry, aims to bring together representatives from top Moroccan companies and their Bahraini counterparts for a series of business-to-business sessions, technical exchanges, and joint market development plans.

Preparatory efforts

In advance of the event, His Excellency Mustapha Benkhayi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Kingdom of Bahrain, met with Dr. Salah Al-Othman, representative of Alshall Consulting and President of Qarar National Consulting, which is organising the summit.

Both parties discussed the need for a comprehensive programme, including specialised working sessions, bilateral meetings, and on-site field visits, to ensure maximum benefit for the participating companies and institutions.

The programme is also expected to involve key Bahraini governmental bodies and professional associations, reinforcing the strategic nature of the collaboration.

Dr. Al-Othman noted that the initiative is designed to deepen Bahrain-Morocco economic ties, particularly in the food sector, and to provide a gateway for expanding trade volumes and market access.
