Final list of 31 distinguished workers announced
Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan announced the final list of names of 31 distinguished private sector employees and establishments to be honoured in appreciation of their excellence and high achievement under the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa simultaneously with the celebrations of the Kingdom's National Day and HM the King's Accession Anniversary.
The ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 20, which reflects His Majesty the King's keenness on patronizing this annual event which constitutes a huge incentive to citizens to put in more efforts and excel in job performance on various workstations to continue the Kingdom's development process, thanks the support received by Bahraini workforce from the government led by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and supported by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. The minister urged all national employees and employers to continue on the road of progress and effective contribution in the Kingdom's comprehensive development to hoist Bahrain's flags among most advanced nations.
The list of honourees this year includes outstanding workers in various economic sectors who have proven their excellence and merit in production, including 4 distinguished workers, 10 distinguished managers, 8 outstanding establishments, 3 establishments that supported the Citizens Wage Support Scheme, 1 small project, 6 freelancers, 5 handicapped, 5 in the oil and gas sector, 16 conversion industries, 6 transport, warehousing, 5 banking, financial and insurance, 11 contracting, 19 commercial, 10 hotels and restaurants, 9 community and other activities, in addition to 8 workers in certain professions that citizens have recently begun to join.
