First batch of Sitra Housing Phase Two Handed Over

Manama:Bahrain has taken another step forward in its national housing programme with the distribution of 531 residential units in the second phase of the Sitra Housing City project, as part of ongoing efforts to meet rising housing demand across the Kingdom.
The initiative is being implemented in line with the directives of His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to accelerate the delivery of housing projects and achieve the goal of 50,000 new housing units, alongside instructions from His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to provide 7,000 housing services.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has begun handing over keys to eligible beneficiaries in the latest batch, marking a key phase in the Sitra development's structured rollout.
Officials said the process is progressing according to plan, underscoring continued efforts to strengthen housing provision and support sustainable community development in the Kingdom.
