Court ruling will be heard on June 24 in the trial of a teacher accused of sexually assaulting one of his students.

The accused, an Arab citizen, abused the child during school hours, according to court files.

"He asked me to go the teachers' room during the recess. I went to him and he asked me to kiss him but I refused," the victim said in his statement.

"But when I turned down all his later invitations to the office, he came to my classroom, when another class was going on.

He requested the teacher who was with us to excuse me and another student from the class saying he needed us for some school related work.

"He then whispered something to my friend and the latter went back to the class. He then  took me with him to the office and assaulted me.  I pushed him away and screamed and he told me not to tell my parents."

The victim, however, immediately informed the matter to another teacher and his parent, who filed a complaint at police station.
