October imports top 2.65 billion kg, valued at BD 520 million

Bahrain imported over 2.65 billion kilograms of goods in October 2025, with the total value reaching approximately BD 520 million, according to data from the Bahrain Open Data Portal released by the Information and eGovernment Authority.

In US dollars, the import bill for the month stood at around $1.388 billion, offering a snapshot of the wide-ranging trade flows entering the country during the period.

The recorded imports spanned more than 2.315 billion units, covering a diverse mix of goods, including raw materials, industrial products, and food items. Key trading partners listed for October included Belgium, France, the Sultanate of Oman, and Somalia, among others.

Notable imports for the month included livestock and specialty animals such as sport horses, cows, and goats. The shipments also featured iron and steel products, mixed fruits and vegetables, household and institutional electrical appliances, plastic goods, decorative items, and jewellery, reflecting Bahrain’s varied import needs.
