Premier, Crown Prince review development plan

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

The two leaders reviewed the on-going efforts to develop the infrastructure and service sectors, and the efforts being exerted by the government to achieve sustainable development and face its challenges, particularly reinforcing and strengthening the pillars of security and stability in a way that helps achieve the expected development goals set by the government during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s prosperous era.

The Prime Minister and the Crown Prince also reviewed the government’s plans regarding providing the funds for the general state budget and reducing the public debt through increasing oil and non-oil revenues, and the needed initiatives and procedures to deal with the financial challenges faced by the budget.

The Crown Prince informed the Prime Minister about his participation in the Climate Summit in Paris.

In this regard, the Premier and the Crown Prince expressed hope that the resolutions and recommendations that would be issued by the Climate Summit would protect environment and maintain countries’ rights.
