Bahrain and France explore stronger financial ties
Bahrain’s Finance Minister and National Economy Minister, and Chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has met France’s Minister of Economy, Finance, Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty, Roland Lescure, on the sidelines of the “Choose France” summit hosted in Paris.
The meeting underscored the longstanding relations between Bahrain and France, with both sides highlighting strong cooperation across economic, financial and investment sectors.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasised the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties and expanding collaboration between the two countries. He also pointed to the value of sharing expertise and best practices in support of shared economic ambitions and long-term development goals.
The discussions also reviewed ongoing financial and economic cooperation between Bahrain and France, along with ways to deepen engagement. Regional and international economic developments were also on the agenda, with both sides exchanging views on issues of mutual interest.
