Terrorist blast injures woman in Bahrain

Manama: A 'terrorist blast' slightly injured a woman last night.

The Interior Ministry said the explosion happened in the village of Sanabis, west of Manama and that police was at the scene but gave no further details.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack at the time of writing.

While majority of incidents targeted security forces or installations, last nights incident marks the second attack since February 14 that injured civilians.

On that date, two civilians were injured by an IED as they drove by on Sitra Island.

Prior to that, the most recent incident involving a civilian target occurred on January 20 when an empty vehicle was set ablaze in Saar.
