Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in strategic cooperation with the General Authority for Awqaf, has launched a unique awareness initiative for the pilgrims coming to perform Hajj from all over the world, as part of a series of awareness-building and outreach efforts for this year’s Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the new initiative includes 13 detailed guides that explain the various stages of performing Hajj in an easy-to-understand format with topics of interest to pilgrims.

The e-guides are available in the following languages: Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Bengali, Indonesian, Malaysian, Hausa, Amharic, Farsi, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, and Sinhalese.

These awareness guides are consistent with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 to facilitate and enhance the Hajj journey for pilgrims so they can perform and engage in their faith-enhancing experience in safety and tranquility.

By answering questions in more than 14 most-spoken languages, The ministry seeks to preserve the health, safety, and rights of pilgrims.

These 182 educational guides—translations included— which cover all religious, health, procedural, and logistical information that pilgrims need, have been designed to be eye-catching and illustrative, using a wide array of cutting-edge images, illustrations, and short educational video clips.

Through this initiative and others, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has undertaken every effort to serve Hajj pilgrims in the best manner possible. The 10,178-page guides can be accessed anywhere, anytime, and on any device free of charge, and were produced in strategic cooperation with the General Authority for Awqaf, and in partnership with other government agencies that provide services to the pilgrims during Hajj.

These guides equip Hajj and Umrah pilgrims with the essential knowledge they need about every aspect of their pilgrimage in a clear, direct, and integrated manner.
