Kuwait Roar Back To Beat Iran In Handball

Nagoya: Kuwait opened their Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games campaign with a hard-fought 26-24 win over Iran in their first Group B match on Saturday.
Iran led 15-13 at halftime. Kuwait, on the other hand, stormed in the second half to overcome a two-goal against and claim victory.
Kuwait maintained their calm in the crucial parts of the closely contested match, eventually winning by two goals at the end. The victory provides Kuwait a significant early advantage in Group B as they seek to gain momentum in the campaign.
Kuwait will return to play on Monday, facing South Korea in their second group round match.
