Chris Brown rants, breakdances while marooned in Philippines

American hip-hop star Chris Brown was barred from leaving the Philippines after a brawl with a powerful religious sect. That however did not stop the Grammy award winner from exploding into a breakdance in front of a giant flat television screen, taking people by surprise.
The 26-year-old Brown started off his foul-mouthed rant after his jet was grounded at Manila airport two days after his concert at the capital. He founded himself stranded after Iglesia ni Cristo, an indigenous Christian group filed a complaint against him.
Asserting that he did not do anything wrong, the pierced and tattooed singer loosened his tongue in a video post on his official Instagram account: "Can somebody please tell me what the f***k is going on? I don't know. The “offensive” post however was taken down later.
Brown, whose profanity-laden catalogue includes songs like "Wet the Bed" and "Body Shots", has 12 million followers on the popular photo-sharing service. Philippine’s justice department said the row erupted after Brown failed to show up for a New Year's Eve concert. It was scheduled to take place at Iglesia-owned indoor arena on Manila's northern outskirts last year.
Earlier press reports had suggested that Brown could not travel to the Philippines at the time since he had lost his passport. Meanwhile, the immigration bureau has put its foot down and said Brown must prove there were no charges against him before he is allowed to leave the country.
"He's still in the country. He has not applied (for the permit) yet," spokeswoman Elaine Tan disclosed. The video involving the rant was apparently shot in a hotel room, with soda cans and snacks scattered on tables. His companions are seen sprawled on couches, wrapped in white blankets.
The Grammy award-winning singer was seen a performing an impromptu breakdance, in the second video, in front of a giant flat screen television much to taking everyone by surprise.
Brown, who is holed up in a Manila hotel for two days after his Tuesday concert, appears smiling and playful in both videos.
