UAE and Egypt Reaffirm Ties, Discuss Middle East Stability

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the city of Al Alamein on Sunday, during a fraternal visit to Egypt.
The two leaders discussed their countries’ strong bilateral relations and explored ways to deepen cooperation across all sectors to serve their shared interests and advance the well-being of their peoples.
The meeting also addressed key regional and international developments of mutual concern, focusing particularly on the latest situation in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to address its challenges.
Both presidents reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation on various issues, stressing the importance of enhanced cooperation to preserve regional security and stability amid shared challenges.
Sheikh Mohamed was received at the airport by President El-Sisi upon arrival. He was accompanied by a high-level delegation including Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Zayed the Good Foundation; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Private Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; as well as a number of ministers and senior officials.
