UAE & Bahrain National Guards Sign MoU to Boost Cooperation

The Commander of the UAE National Guard, Major General Saleh Mohammed bin Mejren Al-Amri, received Lieutenant General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Director of the Bahrain National Guard, and his accompanying delegation during an official visit to the UAE.
Both sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the National Guard Command headquarters. This agreement covers joint cooperation across areas of mutual interest, including exchanging expertise, training and qualification programs, and developing institutional and operational capabilities.
The Bahraini delegation received a briefing on the UAE National Guard's tasks, operational systems, and development programs before witnessing a field demonstration of equipment, machinery, and advanced technology.
Officials said the visit reflects deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Bahrain, reaffirming a shared commitment to expanding security cooperation and consolidating their strategic partnership in service of common national interests.
