OIC Condemns Israeli Attacks on Syrian Territory
The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks and incursions into Syria’s Quneitra and Daraa governorates, describing them as a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty and international law.
In a statement, the OIC denounced the shelling and military operations carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the affected areas, calling them a breach of international humanitarian law and an escalation that threatens regional stability.
The General Secretariat further criticized Israel’s continued actions in Syrian territory, stating that such operations undermine security efforts and contribute to increased instability in the region.
Reaffirming its solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic, the OIC emphasized its support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
The organization also urged the international community to take immediate and decisive action to stop the attacks and ensure compliance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, which governs the ceasefire arrangements between the parties, in order to preserve Syria’s sovereignty and stability.
