Netanyahu Orders Security Review Of International Flights To Israel
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered a security review of international flights to Israel following a reported attempt by an Omani co-pilot to crash an Israel-bound flight from Dubai.
Netanyahu instructed National Security Council Head Shmuel Ben Ezra to appoint an examiner to conduct a thorough review of all security aspects related to foreign civil aviation to Israel, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The review will examine existing security measures for international flights arriving in Israel and assess potential risks to civil aviation.
