UAE and Egypt Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments and Bilateral Cooperation

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a telephone conversation with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss regional developments and efforts to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

During the call, the two ministers reviewed the repercussions of the Iranian attacks that targeted the UAE and several other countries, and exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.

They also discussed ways to strengthen joint efforts aimed at supporting regional security and stability, preserving peace, and promoting sustainable solutions to regional challenges, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The conversation further highlighted the strong and longstanding relations between the UAE and Egypt, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to expanding cooperation and advancing the strategic partnership across a range of sectors.

The ministers underscored the importance of continued coordination and consultation to address regional developments and support initiatives that contribute to peace, security and prosperity in the region.
