Saudi Arabia Deports Nearly 15,000 Illegal Residents in One Week
Authorities in Saudi Arabia have deported 14,855 illegal residents within a single week as part of ongoing nationwide efforts to enforce residency, labour, and border security regulations.
According to official figures, more than 11,300 individuals were also arrested during the same period for violations related to residency laws, illegal border crossings, and unauthorised employment.
The campaign forms part of a broader initiative led by the Saudi Ministry of Interior to strengthen compliance with national regulations and maintain public security. Authorities conduct regular inspection campaigns across the Kingdom targeting individuals and employers found to be in breach of the law.
Officials reiterated that those who facilitate illegal entry, provide shelter, transport, or employment to violators could face strict penalties, including fines, imprisonment, and deportation.
Saudi authorities continue to urge residents and businesses to comply with regulations, warning that enforcement operations will remain ongoing across all regions.
The latest figures reflect the Kingdom’s continued push to regulate its labour market and address illegal residency, as part of wider economic and security reforms.
