HH Shaikh Khalid praised Balew’s outstanding performance throughout the Diamond League season, saying his title and record-breaking run add to Bahrain’s growing athletics achievements and demonstrate the ability of the Kingdom’s athletes to compete with the world’s elite.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the International Human Rights Affairs Committee Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani affirmed that Bahrain has adopted a firmly rooted humanitarian and diplomatic approach based on solidarity and international cooperation, supporting peace, justice, coexistence and sustainable development.
Marking the International Day of Charity, Dr. Al Zayani highlighted Bahrain’s initiatives to advance charitable work, rooted in its religious and humanitarian values. He stressed the close connection between international solidarity, peace and stability, and sustainable development for all.
Musanada Applications Open Until September 30
Tamkeen Executive Vice President of Programme Design and Delivery Khalid Al Bayat said applications for all tracks of the Musanada programme will remain open until September 30, 2026, allowing eligible Bahraini businesses additional time to access financial support.
Al Bayat said the programme is helping Bahraini enterprises affected by the Iranian attacks maintain business continuity, retain their workforce and strengthen liquidity. He noted that micro and small enterprises account for the largest share of beneficiaries as the programme addresses current financial and operational challenges.
