Washington DC: Google has significantly upgraded its Gemini AI capabilities, allowing the assistant to generate and export professional-grade documents in a single tap.
This new update moves beyond simple text generation, enabling Gemini to format and produce native Microsoft Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), and even complex LaTeX files directly within the chat interface.
Designed to streamline professional and academic workflows, the feature allows users to prompt Gemini for structured data such as a budget spreadsheet or a scientific paper and immediately download a ready-to-use file.
This integration bridges the gap between AI ideation and practical execution, reducing the need for manual copy-pasting and reformatting. Currently rolling out to Gemini Advanced subscribers and Google Workspace users, the update positions Google’s AI as a powerful end-to-end tool for content creation, data analysis, and technical documentation.
