Abu Dhabi: Zayed International Airport has launched a new Shopping Pass campaign allowing UAE residents to enter the airport terminal without a boarding pass and enjoy its retail, dining and entertainment facilities.
The eight-week initiative begins on April 18 and is being described as a first-of-its-kind programme for the capital’s main airport.
Open exclusively to UAE nationals and residents, the campaign gives visitors access to the terminal’s luxury shopping outlets, restaurants and leisure experiences without the need to travel.
Those wishing to visit must register in advance and obtain a digital security pass. The pass will be issued as a PDF with a unique QR code, which must be scanned at designated checkpoints for entry and exit.
The move is aimed at offering residents a new lifestyle and leisure destination while showcasing the airport’s world-class facilities.
