Talks Focus on Gaza Situation

A meeting was held between Ambassador Dr. Faid Mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Sector at the League of Arab States, and Her Excellency Fouzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
The discussions focused on the latest developments in the Arab region, with special emphasis on the ongoing situation in Palestine.
Ambassador Mustafa reaffirmed the Arab League’s position in full support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its Gulf Cooperation Council partners in confronting repeated Iranian attacks, which he described as unacceptable and strongly condemned.
The two sides also reviewed the worsening humanitarian conditions in Palestine amid continued Israeli military operations in Gaza and escalating tensions in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.
They further exchanged views on regional political issues of shared concern, emphasizing the importance of strengthening Arab coordination and unified positions on key regional challenges.
