Drone Attack Hits Kuwait’s Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, Fires Reported

Kuwait City: A drone attack targeted the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, owned by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), early Friday, sparking fires across several operational units, according to state news agency KUNA.
KPC confirmed that multiple sections of the refinery were affected in the strike, triggering fires at the site. Emergency response teams were immediately deployed and are working to contain the blazes.
Authorities have not reported any casualties so far. The extent of the damage is still being assessed as firefighting operations continue.
The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions and a series of attacks on critical energy infrastructure across the Gulf.
