Drone Strike Hits Fuel Facility at Kuwait International Airport, No Casualties

Kuwait City: An Iranian drone attack struck fuel storage tanks at Kuwait International Airport early Wednesday, triggering a large fire but causing no casualties, according to Kuwait’s state news agency KUNA.
The attack targeted facilities operated by the Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company (KAFCO) within the airport premises, resulting in significant material damage.
Citing the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, authorities described the incident as a “blatant attack” involving drones launched by Iran and allied armed groups.
Emergency response teams were immediately deployed and were able to bring the fire under control. Officials confirmed that no deaths or injuries were reported.
The strike marks the latest in a series of attacks targeting critical infrastructure in Kuwait amid escalating regional tensions.
