USS Tripoli Arrives in U.S. Central Command Region
3,500 Personnel Deployed with Amphibious Ready Group
The USS Tripoli (LHA-7) has arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility on March 27, marking a significant deployment of American naval and Marine forces to the region.
The amphibious assault ship is serving as the flagship of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group, operating alongside the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. Together, the force comprises approximately 3,500 sailors and Marines.
