Bahrain bans all drone use amid heightened security situation

MANAMA: The Ministry of Interior of Bahrain has announced a complete ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), regardless of their purpose, citing security and legal responsibilities to safeguard national safety and strengthen civil protection.
The ministry stated that the decision comes in light of the ongoing security situation and the impact of recent hostile actions against the Kingdom.
It further warned that any violating drone will be intercepted and destroyed immediately, and legal action will be taken against individuals found in breach of the ban.
The directive takes effect from today and will remain in force until further notice.
The Ministry of Interior of Ministry of Interior (Bahrain) emphasized that the measure is necessary to ensure public safety and maintain national security under current circumstances.
