Tiger Woods Arrested After Rollover Crash in Florida

Golf legend Tiger Woods was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a rollover crash in Florida on Friday afternoon, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. in Jupiter Island, as confirmed by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities reported that Woods, 50, was driving a dark Land Rover when the crash took place. The accident involved a truck towing a trailer. According to investigators, the golfer’s vehicle clipped the trailer after attempting to overtake the truck at high speed.

The truck driver told officials he was turning into a driveway along a two-lane road when he noticed Woods approaching rapidly from behind. In an effort to avoid a collision, Woods swerved, but his SUV struck the rear of the trailer and overturned onto the driver’s side.

Woods managed to exit the vehicle through a window following the crash. Despite the severity of the incident, no injuries were reported for either Woods or the truck driver.

Authorities have since charged Woods with driving under the influence, and further investigations are ongoing.
