Six Injured in Abu Dhabi After Debris Falls From Intercepted Drone

Abu Dhabi: Six people were injured in Abu Dhabi after debris from a drone intercepted by air defence systems fell in an industrial area, authorities said.
According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the incident occurred after air defences successfully intercepted a drone, leading to debris falling in two locations in ICAD 2.
The injured individuals were identified as Pakistani and Nepali nationals. Officials said their injuries ranged from minor to moderate and they received medical attention.
Authorities said emergency teams responded promptly to the incident and secured the affected areas.
Officials also urged the public to rely only on information from official sources and avoid spreading rumours or unverified reports as investigations continue.
